Deer Draw Results – 2011-2012 Fourth Gun Season

We would like to thank all patrons for purchasing deer draw tickets for the fourth season.   Our tickets are inventoried prior to the drawing, and our drawing takes place on board Naval Air Station Kingsville, Texas.  Some personnel have been drawn with only one purchased ticket, while others have been drawn with the purchase of 50 or more tickets.  Please keep in mind our drawing is a lottery system, and we usually average over 250 tickets in our “Other” catergory (active duty odds are 60%, and other category is 40%).  Additionally, we experienced very low patronage numbers during our first hunt season, and harvested less than half the whitetail doe we planned on taking.  Active duty please keep in mind Escondido Ranch operates solely on patronage revenue, and your funding in past years has greatly assisted with keeping the Ranch operational.  We would like to thank our retirees, and those who fall into the “Other” category, for their continued support, and the best of luck to you all in future draws.  

The following personnel had their tickets drawn for the fourth gun hunt period of the 2011 – 2012 season (31JAN – 24FEB).  Tickets may be purchased from Escondido Ranch or the NAS Kingsville MWR ITT Office.
