2011 Escondido Ranch Ice Storm
Directions:
Escondido Ranch is located in the Southwest corner of McMullen County Texas, 25 miles SW of Freer, TX. You will need to take US 59 from Freer heading towards Laredo. Once 3.2 miles outside of Freer, there is a flashing yellow light marking SH 44. Turn right on SH 44 heading towards Encinal. Travel 8.5 miles on SH 44, then make a right on CR 401 (caliche road – on your right). Travel 13 miles on CR 401, stay to the right at the only road fork, and you will dead end at our Ranch. Patrons have occasionally experienced problems in the past time due to following their GPS above the McMullen Target Range. This route will guide through multiple ranches which are easement roads for work transit only. If you have any question please feel free to contact us either by phone or by email. We are out improving the ranch most of the time, but make an effort to answer voice mail and comments.
