The Morale, Welfare and Recreation Department (MWR) of Naval Air Station Kingsville manages this commercially developed 6,800 acre South Texas hunting ranch. Escondido Ranch is located 90 miles from Kingsville, Texas near the town of Freer. Our Ranch facilities and hunting program are maintained by active duty U.S. Navy personnel from Naval Air Station Kingsville. Ranch Manager is GSMC(SW) Jonny Gross, Ranch Staff are EN1(SW) Jesse Lindner, EN2(sw) Duane McCurdy, and EN2(SW) Chris Garcia.

2013-2014 Deer Draw Tickets and King Hunting Club Memberships goes on sale September 01, 2013. EVERY HUNTER 18 years of age or older is required to have King Hunting Club Membership.
Dove Season: September 20- October 27, 2013 and December 20, 2013 – January 20, 2014.
Quail Season: October 26, 2013 – February 23, 2014.
Deer Archery: September 28- 01 November 2013. Deer Rifle Season: November 02, 2013- January 27, 2014 MLD
Youth Hunt: 26-27 October 2013. Doe Only. 16 years of age or younger. There will be a drawing for this years Youth Hunt. The tickets are free. One ticket per family.

Fall Turkey Season: November 2, 2013 – January 19, 2014.
Spring Turkey Season: March 15, 2014 – April 27, 2014.
Feral Hogs, Coyotes, Bobcats, Javelina season are year round.
